I personally love the soft lavender color. Lavender has calming, relaxing, feminine, romantic, and luxurious qualities, making it a perfect color for those envisioning a timeless and romantic wedding but preferring subtle colors over an all-white and blush palette.
There are various beautiful soft lavender-colored flowers such as Scabiosas, Sweetpeas, Clematis, Tulips, Roses, Ranunculus, or Lisianthus. Even if lavender isn’t your main color palette, simply adding a couple of stems to your flower arrangements or bouquets can make them more elegant and unique!
I found small-sized roses (actually at Whole Foods market!) that had a beautiful soft lavender color, and they caught my eyes! So I grabbed them, and I made a wedding bouquet with these lavender roses, adding some blush pink and light blue using my bouquet-making tool, StemSlider.
Here is the list of materials and some tips for this lavender bouquet, and I’m sharing the bouquet recipe below.
Materials for lavender wedding bouquet
Rose (lavender/small size) – 14 stems
Clematis (lavender) – 6 stems
Ranunculus (peach) – 10 stems
Scabiosa (blush pink) – 8 stems
Butterfly Ranunculus (blush pink) – 3 stems
Helleborus (white) – 3 stems
Tweedia (light blue) – 5 stems
Tips to make the wedding bouquet soft and airy
Helleborus is a main filler, so use them at the beginning of the process.
Add Clematis and Butterfly Ranunculus at the end to give the bouquet a fluffy movement.
Tweedia can serve as both filler and line flowers; cut some of them short to fill the space in the middle and side areas, and keep some of them longer to add nice lines outside of the bouquet.
