While collaborating with my favorite wedding planner for a music-loving couple, I had a unique request to create bridesmaids’ bouquets with a triangle hoop, resembling their love for music. I had prior experience crafting bouquets in various styles, such as basket arrangements and hand-tied bouquets. However, the triangle hoop wedding bouquet was the first time in my career that I was tasked, and it turned out to be a truly enjoyable project!
There are different methods to create bouquets like this, involving the use of wires or floral glue. I opted for a simple wiring technique, as it offered more flexibility in terms of length and positioning, while also allowing for more depth and movement in the final design.
The wiring method can be time-consuming, so I chose to wire only the flowers, not the greens. This decision allowed me to save a significant amount of time when creating each bouquet. If you need to craft a large number of these bouquets, you can use fewer flowers and incorporate more greens. In case there’s some empty space in the final design, you can easily add small blooms using floral glue as well.
In this article, I’m sharing the materials list and 5 tips for creating this triangle bouquet. If you’d like to learn more about making unique bouquets with frames like this, I’ve prepared a free training video that provides a comprehensive guide from hydrating the materials to completing the bouquet.
