Hello Everyone!
I'm floral designer, gardener and your flower bouquet coach. I'm so glad you're here. Let's enrich your bouquet skills together! Read my story
Whimsical wedding bouquets are full of movement, character, and charm, perfect for couples looking for something playful, natural-feeling, and a little unexpected.
Whimsical designs often feature naturally curving stems, unique textures, and a loose, organic shape. I love how whimsical bouquets invite creativity and reflect personality, and how beautifully they pair with outdoor settings. You’ll also enjoy how simple it can be to create this style with just a few flower varieties and colors!
In this post, I’m sharing how I made this whimsical wedding bouquet using soft white and light blue tones, airy textures, and an asymmetrical shape, made with the help of our StemSlider bouquet-making tool. You’ll also find the full list of flower materials I used.
1. Place line flowers (delphiniums and ferns) to create an asymmetrical outline and filled the space with hydrangeas and green pods.
2. Next, add main flowers (white dahlias) at varying heights, and fill more spaces with green celosias.
3. Place white lysimachias in grouping for texture.
4. Lastly, add movement with airy lavender didiscus for a soft, light finish.
