Hello Everyone!
I'm floral designer, gardener and your flower bouquet coach. I'm so glad you're here. Let's enrich your bouquet skills together! Read my story

What’s your favorite or strongest style when you create floral bouquets and arrangements? Garden-style with soft and loose flowing look? I’ve noticed that my own style has changed quite a bit, depending on where I was living at the time. In Japan, my work felt more romantic and classic, often in a petite scale. Outside of London, I naturally leaned toward a garden style. In Amsterdam, Taipei, and New York, I found myself drawn to a modern classic look.
Now, living in a woodland setting, I feel most comfortable with a garden-style inspired by English gardens. (Though I truly love many different styles!)

If your style is more garden-inspired, or if you’d like to explore this direction, I’d love to share some of my favorite flowers for creating bouquets that feel soft and flowing.
The flowers I love to use usually have smaller blooms, a light appearance, and delicate petals. I often add them in the middle or toward the end of the bouquet-making process. They bring beautiful texture, lightness, and gentle movement without changing the structure too much.
Here are 25 my favorite flowers to use when I want a bouquet to feel soft and flowing:

I usually place many of these a little higher in the bouquet and toward the end of the design. They help soften the overall shape and add natural movement.
These flowers are available in my area, CT, USA, but I’m sure you’ll find beautiful varieties in your own region as well. Even if they’re usually larger blooms, you may sometimes find smaller versions that work beautifully as movement flowers.😊
I hope this list brings you a little inspiration the next time you’re creating!
