Last Friday, I hosted a wedding bouquet workshop at our studio with a wonderful group of floral designers and farmer-florist in CT. It was my first bouquet workshop introducing our new bouquet-making tool, ‘StemSlider‘. We created wedding bouquets primarily with pretty flowers (little greens), which is trickier! But everyone did a beautiful work!
Of course as many of you fellow florists know wedding bouquet making is challenging … it’s even harder when done with just one hand. So, I created a tool to make the process easier, and to create with both hands from multiple angles, much more like making a centerpiece. I truly appreciate everyone who joined my workshop, taking on the challenge with our new tool. I had a special time with these wonderful floral designers!
So I wanted to share with you some of the behind the scene photos of this wedding bouquet workshop that were captured by my dear friend and talented photographer Colleen Anne Lennehan.
These photos and the instagram post below are the garden inspired wedding bouquets that everyone made with the StemSlider tool.
Winter is a great time to learn and improve. I plan to organize another workshop next month, so if you’re interested in learning with me, please stay tuned! Many thanks again to Ashly, Eileen, Julie, Lindsey, and Melissa for joining me!
