While this post may not resonate with everyone if you don’t celebrate Christmas, I wanted to share a fun and easy bouquet recipe for creating a Christmas tree bouquet. It’s a delightful way to add extra festive décor to your tables and bring a bit of holiday charm into your home.
Bouquet Recipe for Holiday Table Decor
Here’s the recipe for the 24″ Christmas tree bouquet I made for my coffee table!
Material for a tree
Ceder (10″-24″ long) – 9 stems
Fir (10″-18″ long) – 18 stems
Material for a decoration
Cinnamon stick – 4
Star Anise – 9
Dried Lime – 4
Pine corn (small-medium size) – 12
White pepper berry – 4
Red berry – 12 stems
I used cedar and fir trees to create the tree shape, but you can mix in other varieties of greens or keep it simple with one type. If you use evergreens or greens that can dry (like eucalyptus or acacia), you don’t need to put them in water.
To add a festive touch, I hung cinnamon sticks, vanilla pods, white pepper berries, dried limes, pinecones, and red berries from the branches. You can also use dried flowers or fresh flowers that dry well (like blue thistles or proteas) for some added color and charm.
I created this bouquet with the ‘StemSlider’ bouquet-making tool, but if you don’t have this tool, you can also make it by hand as well!
This bouquet stands at 24” tall, but you can make a smaller version by using fewer greens. This project is quick and enjoyable, much easier than creating a bridal or flower bouquets!
Enjoy creating your own holiday tree bouquet, and happy holidays!🌲
